Chicken barbeque seems to be filipinos favorite lunch or dinner meal. Especially if is accompanied by rice and pickled papaya. My auntie taught me how to do it and it comes out be very appetizing. Wanna try this recipe. We will need the following

1 kg of chicken chopped into 12 pcs

3 tsps liquid seasoning

3 tbsps soysauce

1 cup seven up

1/2 cup banana catsup

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tsp of minced garlic

1-1/2 tsp ground pepper

1-1/2 fine salt

bamboo sticks

Procedure

1. In a mixing bowl, marinate chicken in soy sauce,banana catsup, brown sugar, seven up,minced garlic, ground pepper, salt, liquid seasoning at room temperature for 3 hours or overnight in the refrigerator for more flavor.

2. Boil the marinade without water until half done.

3. Place chicken on bamboo skewers or sticks.

4. Grill over charcoal flame until golden brown.

5. Brush marinade while grilling.

6. Serve with a cup of rice and picked papaya.
